Disclaimer

I, Jeanne A. Brohart, am not a physician, nor do I have experience in the field of medicine at all.   I am simply a mother  with a story to tell, information, research, experiences and opinions to share.  [There you have it... my "disclaimer" so that I don't get accused of practicing medicine without a license just for sharing "what we did"].   I'm just "a mom"...nothing more... but then, that is "the title" most precious to me.   :o)

The materials on my website are the result of over 20,000 hours of research into issues as they pertain to metal toxicity.  Book 3 has about 800 references behind it.   The paper on insulin has close to 200.   So... for those who want to know "where I got the information"... that is provided for you.  :o)

Everything in the books written by Jeanne A. Brohart, 1)  Saving Zachary: The Death And Rebirth Of A Family Coping With Autism, and, 2) Breaking The Code to Remove The Shackles Of Autism: When The Parts Are Not Understood And The Whole Is Lost!, 3) Breaking The Code: Putting Pieces In Place!, 4) Breaking The Code To Language And Communication:  The Ultimate Puzzle For A Child With Autism, and, on her website, http://www.autismhelpforyou.com, are based on experiences with her autistic son, Zachary and her personal research.

The above mentioned books and website and any other materials provided therein, either electronically or on paper are not meant to be a substitute for individualized medical evaluation, advice, care, or recommended treatment from a qualified, licensed health or behavioral professional.   Jeanne A. Brohart does not recommend taking supplements, medications or implementing dietary or behavioral programs/changes without first consulting your personal physician and/or therapist.  Each child is different and family medical history has a bearing on the care any person receives.  Parents are strongly urged to consult with their physician/therapist prior to adopting anything suggested in the above books or website or prior to drawing cause/effect conclusions or inferences from these materials.

Although many parents have written me and expressed their agreement with my theory, what I propose is a very new theory that has yet to be reviewed by the autism research, therapy, or medical community in general.
