Autism... Alzheimer's... Schizophrenia - Comparison..... Is all this "Just Coincidence"?

Return To HOME Page

Below is my comparison of Autism-Alzheimer's-Schizophrenia - I've already found close to 160 MIRROR image parallels between Autism and Alzheimer's.   Others, I am still investigating as indicated.     Note: Most behaviors seen are EXACT matches (not "kind of the same").  I am still working on this project - mostly Schizophrenia part -  although I've already found close to 140 parallels between autism and Schizophrenia - not to mention the history of these disorders which very much ties them together also!

World Leading Immunogeneticist, Fudenberg,  states that if you have 5 consecutive flu shots, you are 10 times more likely to develop Alzheimer's (Refer to:  Hazards of Vaccines 1 & 2 in Internat. J. Clin. Invest., 2000 & 2004).  Dr. Hugh Fudenberg, MD)... note this man's impeccable credentials!   I also encourage you to read what may be KEY  in explaining differences among these disorders!

Epidemic levels (estimates range from 1 in 150 impacted to 1 in 67) Epidemic levels (over 85 years old, 50% impacted, 75-85 20% impacted, 65-75 10% impacted, now seeing people in their 40s and 50s with Alzheimer's.  Youngest documented case - 28 years old!) Epidemic levels (1 in 100 impacted)
Note:  A  "genetic epidemic" is scientifically impossible!

For more on this issue of "it's genetic"  see section on "Genetic Vs Hereditary - The Critical Difference So Often Misunderstood! which is part of my Research File (searing this file on "genetic" shows that at one time, almost every chromosome in the human dna strand was said to have "a key to autism or an autism gene" - the latest big one being chromosome 11 - the human insulin chromosome - that one is key - but I suspect not for the reason they think it is!  - see below! :o)

Previously called:  Childhood Schizophrenia

Discovered By Leo Kanner

Previously called:  Dementia Praecox

This is not a typo... Alzheimer's and schizophrenia used to have the same name NAME! See A Critical Lesson In History!

Discovered by Alois Alzheimer who worked for/with Emil Kraepelin and was considered Emil Kraepelin's protégé

Previously called:  Dementia Praecox

Discovered by Emil Kraepelin, the man whose work is most closely associated with schizophrenia.  Kraepelin is credited with "co-discovering" Alzheimer's!

Issues with insulin levels

Note:  Many mothers who had gestational diabetes have told me they now have children with autism!  Iron (found in prenatal vitamins in very high doses) and insulin modulate each other... trip up iron levels (a very toxic metal) and you'll trip up insulin levels.

Mercury also impacts insulin!

Children with Down Syndrome (more than 10 times likely to get autism than the general population) are also much more likely to have - diabetes!

For much more on this see a critical research paper on Redefining The Role Of Insulin or my RESEARCH File.

Issues with insulin levels

Having diabetes greatly increases your risk for Alzheiemer's!    Dr. William Frey II - a leading Alzheimer's researcher - is patenting INSULIN therapy for Alzheimer's!

Beta amyloid may be a metal chelator and brain sealant per work of Glenda Bishop of Australia.  That could make it a "good thing" and perhaps explains why vaccine trials aiming to do away with beta amyloid had to suddenly be stopped - with apparently no explanation given!

Note:  Amyloid plaques are also found in the pancreas of type II diabetics!

For much more on this see my critical research paper on Redefining The Role Of Insulin or my RESEARCH File and why I now believe insulin may play a huge role in metal detoxification!

Vitamin deficiency - especially in B group

Note:  Vitamin B6 deficiency is known to cause or magnify seizures.  Critical to formation of neurotransmitters, blood, insulin, excretion of metals, etc.  Known to be depleted by birth control pills! 40% - 90% of Vitamin B6 is lost via freezing and other processing of grains!

Rimland's SuperNuThera formulation for autistics had 25,000% RDA of B6 in 2002!

Too much B6 can lead to peripheral nerve damage.  Dose appears to have since been reduced.   Therapeutic dose is believed to be 50 - 100 mg/day.  Taking 200 mg or more per day for extended periods (i.e., 2 years) is known to lead to peripheral nerve damage!

Drugs used in treatment include drugs used for schizophrenia! STILL NEED TO INVESTIGATE Drugs used in treatment include drugs used for autism!
Monozygotic twin (100% same dna/genes) studies are mixed as far as results and sample sizes are quite small.  There appears to be only a 60% chance of monozygotic twins both having autism - yet, they have 100% the same genes and thus, why would this correlation not be 100% ?  The chance of fraternal twins both having autism is rather small.  Siblings (non-twins) within a family have only a 2 - 6% chance of developing autism.  Could these findings not be due to the fact that twins usually have a lower birth weight and are usually born prior to full term thus, they have a more immature brain and immune system.  Differences could also result from differences in blood types, gender,  etc.  Also, monozygotic twins are quite likely to be exposed to the same vaccination schedules / batches and have same APO-E genotype  (that would be a genetic factor) which is supposed to determine how susceptible one is to heavy metal toxicity.  Even twins separated at birth would most likely have been vaccinated and as such, environmental factors can not be dismissed as a possible cause for autism - nor, in my opinion - can the role of prenatal vitamins - loaded with iron given metals are very reactive and the fact that this is another very toxic metal that appears to play into the equation! Twin studies show about 40% concordance.  Again, some variation exists.  It is very difficult to believe a primary genetic link that would "lie dormant" for most of a person's life and then awaken to completely devastate a person in pretty well all aspects of brain and immune system function.  Note that insulin is known to play a role in the "reactivation of genes" - perhaps for helping to heal the body as it deals with metal toxicity since it is also tied to "sequestering" of metals like iron.    Can genetics really have become "that bad" in just one generation?  Unlikely!  This was a comment also echoed during the Simpsonwood meeting of 2000 regarding the possible link between autism and vaccines.  Of course, if one does believe "genetics" could possibly change that much in just 1 or 2 generations, resulting in such higher incidence of Alzheimer's, how do you possibly explain all the parallels between the autistic child and an 85 year old with Alzheimer's if "genetics" have changed?   That, indeed, would be a difficult "genetics" argument to make!  :o) Monogyzotic twin (100% same dna/genes) studies indicate NON-genetic link (often one twin only is impacted, studies vary in concordance - seems to range from 40% - 60% impacted).  No "gene for schizophrenia" has been found - after over 100 years of study!   MRI research by Paul Thompson of UCLA now indicates schizophrenia may have a "NON-genetic" trigger!  Note this is after countless studies telling us this was most likely a "genetic disorder".

Perhaps the view that this disorder may have a "non-genetic" trigger explains why there is NO GENE for schizophrenia that has yet been identified - and I suspect none ever will be - and that the same will be true for autism and Alzheimer's!

In my opinion, based on the research I have read, there appear to be several other disorders that play into this also, including Stroke, Parkinson's, Bi-Polar, Depression, Multiple Sclerosis, Diabetes, Cancer, and many others - possibly close to 25 or more disorders.   I believe this may all be shades of the same thing - mercury and/or aluminum poisoning- explaining why so many of these disorders have mirror effects. This information is being compiled for information purposes/public knowledge.  See Terms of Use at http://www.autismhelpforyou.com for reproduction rights.  All references for the above comparison are available at http://www.autismhelpforyou.com.

This link provides references I used for the above comparisons.

I will update chart as more are found.  This information was provided as part of testimony submitted on behalf of the public in both December 2002 (initial comparison chart) and January 2003 (chart updated and included Schizophrenia info also) to Dan Burton for congressional hearings on vaccinations.   Although this was submitted on behalf of the public, not surprisingly, a decision was made NOT to include this in the "official testimony" record!

With time, as I worked with my son, many of the things that were once issues - he was able to overcome - after much research and understanding of the issues, much one on one, and with the passage of time which allowed for the brain to make new connections.  Yet, clearly, so many parallels exist among these disorders that they simply can not be ignored.

World Leading Immunogeneticist, Fudenberg,  states that if you have 5 consecutive flu shots, you are 10 times more likely to develop Alzheimer's... note this man's impeccable credentials! I also encourage you to read what may be KEY in explaining differences among these disorders and the very critical paper on Redefining The Role of Insulin:  Could It Play A Critical Role in Metal Detoxification?  - A MUST READ for anyone with an interest in these issues!

Understanding the issues is the first step in addressing them!  Note that many of the issues listed above I now recognize as signs of epilepsy.

Given what mercury does to neurons (see table link) - why should that surprise any of us!

For more on this issue and the fact that our current mental illness classification system is an outdated and invalid system based on recent discoveries in brain development see my section entitled:

Why Our Mental Illness Classification System Is Outdated And Invalid!!!

BUT WAIT... VACCINES SAVE LIVES... DON'T THEY? Myths, Facts, Lies, Truths...

Read the first article on the above link... History shows death rates had declined 90%+ long before vaccines were even introduced!!!  Note the trend in death rates for diseases where no vaccines were available...  it is virtually the same... so, can we honestly say vaccines save lives... personally... I think that has yet to be proven... and indeed, many are now arguing vaccines are counterproductive!!!

I strongly encouraged all families to read "Book 3" to see how many more pieces of this "autism puzzle" now seem to be falling into place.
